iMovie 08 and audio
One of the big concerns about iMovie 08 is that working with audio in this new version is not as elegant or controlled as previous versions. It's not perfect, but this article i found talks about a work around for fading audio within a clip.
Why iMovie 08 matters
We've been debating the merit of putting both iMovie HD and iMovie 08 on the new lab machines, and I found this article that makes sense in support of iMovie 08: http://macteens.com/magazine/features/fullstory/why_imovie_08_matters/

Questions on Leopard Shorts submissions
What is the policy on using copyrighted materials in the Leopard Shorts submissions? When viewing the entries it seemed like there may have been copyrighted music, images, and maybe more used in one of them. Are the entries going to be screened for these kind of things before the votes go live? Thanks.
