ITS Coffee Break for Tues, June 13

A short update on this summer's network drive transition starts off the 6/13 ITS Coffee Break before turning the discussion turns to two beta projects: WIndows XP running on an Intel-powered iMac via Apple's Bootcamp beta software, and the beta version of Windows Vista. Stop by the ITS Consulting Center in the Library to see either project in action. There's also a discussion of a new digital paper initiative by Hearst Newspapers and a round-up of upcoming workshops being offered by ITS.

ITS Coffee Break for Tue., June 6

Updates to the password change utility, the ability to use your network id to login to e-mail, and a new Web-based tech book library service and upcoming workshops top the ITS News segement of this week's Coffee Break podcast. After discussing what's new with ITS, Courtney and Ken take a look at Microsoft and Adobe's fight over PDF creation and talk about the new security flaws found in Mozilla's Firefox Web browser. Finally, the "Help" section reviews the new documentation available on the ITS web site.
