Free Your Mind
It's not quite Neal Stephenson's virtual desktop, but Freemind still looks pretty cool. It's a Java-based "mind mapping" software, providing a visual tool for organizing your thoughts. I haven't tried it yet, but its on my list of stuff to play with this week.
Soapbox 2.0 Status
Yes folks, it's good to be the admin ... and thus get the honor and glory of posting the first message to Soapbox 2.0. So far it's looking pretty good -- I'm rapidly installing new modules based on the test version of Soapbox I setup on a G4 in office. Here's a list of what's installed and working as of 12:18 p.m. 1/12 (note that "installed and working" doesn't mean that everything's been perfectly configured yet; there's a lot of customization to be done once the modules are all in).
