Liberal vs Conservative, Evolution vs Creation, Wawa vs Campus
In life, there are a number of fundamental questions that you will encounter that require deep reflection and thought to convince yourself of the "right" answer. For example, the endless debate over liberal vs. conservative political views. Which is better? Why is it better? What about evolution vs. creation? Was it science or some higher power that made life possible? For Lafayette students, another of these unanswerable questions arises: What is better for a late night snack Wawa or Campus?
Other than Pardee, these are probably the two most recognizable landmarks on the Lafayette campus and outside of Farinon, probably the most frequently visited (apologies to any engineers who live in AEC). Taking into consideration the standard college lifestyle, some type of food is almost essential during the time span of 11pm-2am, depending on the day and the individual. To make things equal, we will simply compare the two places on a typical Saturday night.
First, let us consider Campus. Atmosphere is one of the keys to enjoying some late night food. I must say, upon our return to Lafayette, I was impressed by the upgrades that Campus made. New floors, new tables, and they actually re-wrote the menu on the chalkboard so you don’t have to squint your eyes every time you order. Campus also boasts top-notch hospitality, Kathy must be one of the nicest persons in the world. However, Lambros with that flashlight is a whole different story. I’m sorry ladies, I know you love to take group shots with Lambros in commemorate a particular Campus experience, but he is just plain creepy.
Selectivity is one of the major drawbacks of Campus. Late Saturday night, you are pretty much limited to a greasy slice of pizza, but lets be honest, if you are there late on a Saturday night I think anything would taste good. And nothing is better than that pizza at 1:45am. You also have to consider the beer factor. Cheap pitchers are more than convenient, but beware of who you share with, Lambros’s daughter is cat-like when it comes to swiping a pitcher out of your hand. Campus also provides entertainment while you eat. Although the music is horrible, (I swear if I have to watch the Soulja Boy dance there one more time I’m going to break the speakers) seeing people hopelessly grinding on each other horribly offbeat is hilarious.
With that general assessment of Campus, lets move on to Wawa. Wawa scores low on atmosphere. Walking in there late Saturday night is demoralizing. It is like you are accepting defeat on the night and resorting to eating away your disappointment. I also hate the fact that every time I go there I witness a crime. I can’t order a sandwich without seeing at least two donuts and a couple bags of chips stolen. What Wawa lacks in atmosphere they certainly make up in selectivity. Any place you can walk out of with a milkshake, mac and cheese, sliced watermelon, and a toasted sandwich is alright in my book, especially considering the respectable quality. Wawa is also great on convenience and time. Put the hood of your sweatshirt up and you can be in and out without bumping into anyone that will breed awkward conversation in less than three minutes. This is far from the case at Campus, where as soon as you walk in you make eye contact with the one person you wanted to avoid for the night.
I am not going to waste my time and attempt to declare a winner. There is no use trying to convince the diehard Campus goers that it’s not really that great or the obsessive Wawa addicts that Subway is better. I have my opinion, but I will leave it up to you to decide.

I'm assuming that you mean the pizza place here on the hill. You may want to consider how describing a local business owner as "creepy" might come across in a public blog. Otherwise, I love the way you likened creation to the WaWa.
